Horrifying reports are flooding the city guard! In the wake of another one of Runsbane’s infamous earthquakes, tales describe rats changing colors, turning invisible, and even flying through the streets. All clues point to a single source: an illegal apothecary shop on the city’s outskirts whose owner has mysteriously vanished.

The guard needs a team to handle the mess. That’s where you come in.

Rats! is a complete, single-session adventure for Fifth Edition (levels 1-3) and Daggerheart (levels 1-2), designed for 3-5 players. It’s a chaotic, fun-filled romp perfect for introducing new players to the game or for a lighthearted game night for veteran adventurers.

What is “Rats!”?

This isn’t your typical dungeon crawl. An illegal potion shop has had a bit of a… spill. The local rodent population has been sampling the merchandise, and the side effects are explosive, to say the least.

You are newly deputized members of the Runsbane city guard (or enterprising adventurers on the payroll). Your mission: venture into the disastrously messy shop, deal with the pest problem, and apprehend the rogue apothecary behind it all.
